At an elevation of 3,700 meters, Vishensar and Kishensar Lakes are the heart of this journey, offering crystal-clear reflections of the surrounding mountains. The trek is also a cultural experience, passing through nomadic Gujjar and Bakarwal settlements, where trekkers can witness their traditional pastoral lifestyle.

Itinerary

📍 Day 1: Arrival in Srinagar → Drive to Sonamarg (85 km, 3 hours)

• Pickup from Srinagar Airport.

• Drive to Sonamarg, a paradise of golden meadows and snow-capped peaks.

• Overnight stay in Sonamarg (Hotel/Camp).

📍 Day 2: Sonamarg → Nichnai Pass (Trek: 9 km, 6-7 hours)

• Trek through lush green meadows and pine forests.

• Cross Nichnai Pass (3,500m) with breathtaking Himalayan views.

• Camp overnight in Nichnai Valley.

📍 Day 3: Nichnai → Vishensar Lake (Trek: 12 km, 7-8 hours)

• Trek through alpine meadows covered with wildflowers.

• Reach Vishensar Lake (3,700m) – a pristine glacial lake.

• Enjoy the tranquility and star-lit camping experience.

📍 Day 4: Vishensar → Kishensar Lake → Back to Vishensar (Trek: 4 km, 2-3 hours round trip)
